Channing Tatum is sharing a magical glimpse into his life post-breakup.
The Magic Mike star showed off a shirtless post-workout selfie a few weeks after the news broke that he and Zoë Kravitz have ended their engagement after three years together.
“The only fun thing about 7am training sessions is when they’re done bro,” the 44-year-old wrote on the pic, which he shared on his Nov. 13 Instagram Story. “Also I sort of can’t stand this dirt goatee I have for this character. Lol but it’s a vibe for the movie.”
Tatum is currently in production for the film Roofman, where he plays real-life thief Jeffrey Manchester, who was known as the “rooftop robber” after allegedly robbing 60 McDonald’s restaurants by breaking in through the roof.
Tatum and Kravitz, 35, who first sparked romance rumors in 2021 after working together on Kravitz’s directorial debut Blink Twice, got engaged in October 2023, calling it quits one year later.
And though they’ve ended their engagement, the exes will continue to collaborate professionally as they are set to star in the upcoming comedy Alpha Gang.
"Making art is our love language," the Batman actress previously told E! News in August. "We hope to continue doing it."
As for initially casting Tatum in her thriller Blink Twice, Kravitz felt the former dancer was the right man for the job.
"I approached him knowing he was the right person and just hoping that he would do it," she explained. "He was asking me, 'Why do you think I should play this role?' He said, 'No one really asks me to play roles like this.' And I said, 'That's exactly why I'm doing it.'"
And after working with Kravitz, Tatum previously shared that she’s become a go-to consultant for him.
"I don't really make any creative decisions or very many decisions without getting her point of view now," he explained to E!, "because I respect her point of view and her brain, her tastes and almost everything."
For a look back at the former couple’s romance, read on.
In a June 2021 interview with Deadline, Channing Tatum shared how honored he was that Zoë Kravitz thought to include him in her directorial debut, Pussy Island, later renamed Blink Twice.
Amid rumblings of a romance, Tatum and Kravitz appeared to confirm their relationship status in August 2021 with a sweet bike ride around New York City. "There's more than a friendship going on with Channing and Zoe," a source told E! News at the time. "They are spending a lot of time together and having fun. They are more than just close friends or co-stars. Their relationship has grown into more."
Sightings of the pair became more frequent, and they were spotted again in August enjoying a walk after having lunch in New York.
Though they initially posed separately on the 2021 Met Gala red carpet, the duo was photographed exiting the star-studded event together. Tatum even shared a photo with Kravitz on his Instagram Story from the after-party.
For their first Halloween together, the pair dressed up as Robert De Niro and Jodie Foster's characters from the film Taxi Driver.
During a chat with GQ, Kravitz said of Tatum, "He's just a wonderful human. He makes me laugh and we both really love art and talking about art and the exploration of why we do what we do. We love to watch a film and break it down and talk about it and challenge each other."
They dressed up as Rosemary Woodhouse and her baby from Rosemary's Baby for Kendall Jenner's 2023 Halloween Party in L.A.
After over two years of dating, multiple outlets confirmed that Kravitz and Tatum were engaged to be married.
The recently engaged couple was spotted leaving a date night at Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica, Calif.
Channing showed his support for the Kravitz fam by joining Zoe and her dad Lenny Kravitz at his Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Ceremony.
They looked smitten at the Los Angeles premiere of their movie collaboration, Blink Twice.
The pair continued their press tour together at the European premiere of Blink Twice in London.
Tatum and Kravitz broke up after three years together, multiple outlets reported in October 2024.
