LIBERTY, Ky. (AP) — Two children were among four people found dead in a house fire in central Kentucky, officials said.
The blaze was reported Thursday afternoon in the Bethelridge community of Casey County, Kentucky State Police said in a statement Friday.
Ariel Gordon, 29, of Lebanon, and Thomas Moss, 39, of Summersville and two children were found dead inside the home, police said. Their bodies were sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsies.
The house was fully engulfed and it took several fire crews from multiple counties at least five hours to extinguish the blaze, Southeast Casey County Volunteer Fire Chief Billy Duncan told WKYT-TV.
The cause of the fire and the deaths were under investigation, police said.
